Back to Basics : Review of Library Services

If you need to review the clinical journal literature, or just need specific articles, let your Librarian help. PubMed/Medline Phobia? I can help you make informed decisions with the best evidence!

• Use the online Literature Search Request form to tell me what you’re looking for. I’ll run the search in Medline, PubMed, Cochrane, CINAHL (or other appropriate databases) and give you a list of article citations that match your search criteria.

Want specific articles? Send me the citations via email, fax or this Article Request Form, and I’ll send you the articles. In most cases, I can email you PDFs of articles, [following the Fair Use provision of US Copyright]. We have access to over 10,000 online journals. If we don’t have it, we can usually get it for you, at no cost to you.

• Don’t forget our collection of Lean, and Studer Group Management and Leadership books.

• Make an appointment to learn how to efficiently and effectively search Medline, PubMed, or Cinahl. I offer training on these specific databases as well as a personalized library orientation geared to your interests and information needs.
