Tip for Navigating the New Library Web

Use the search box at the upper right of the Affinity web pages to search the entire Affinity intranet website, including the library pages. This handy tool can help locate that elusive link or document that you know is there -- somewhere on our intranet.

Important Notes about what this search does NOT do:

  • This search box does not search the whole Internet, but just the Affinity Intranet site.
  • It does not search within specific resources (For example, you can locate the link to Ovid-MEDLINE with the Affinity search box, but you'd have to use the OVID search box to find answers to your more specific research questions.)

Example :
1) In the Affinity Intranet search box, type Healthweb.
2) You should get a short list of results with Healthweb posted first. This entry even includes a short description to help you decide if this will be a useful link.
3) Click on the title "Healthweb" to to follow the link.

Congratulations! You've just successfully used the Affinity Intranet Search Utility!
