Ovid's New Look

Ovid Search Tools have a new look!
All the Ovid features you rely on -- with some great new enhancements.

Affinity Library Services is pleased to announce that Ovid Technologies has made significant enhancements to its Ovid Web Gateway interface. You’ll immediately notice a cleaner, more contemporary look. But be assured that the tried-and-true features you rely on are still available.

Ovid has added some exciting new features to the new interface:

Find Citation – Find a complete citation when all you have is basic information about a specific article—even if you only have pieces, this can lead you to the complete citation.
Find Citing Articles –Find out where an article may have been cited in the 500 titles in Journals@Ovid.
Find Similar – Streamline your research by linking to other relevant articles.
Find Full-Text – If the full-text article is not available through Ovid, “Find Full-Text” checks ALL the Affinity Libraries’ online resources for the article. Please be aware that the article you seek may NOT be accessible online, in which case, contact the libraries and we will work our magic to get you the article.

Maximize your searching skills
Your library staff is here to assist you in getting the best research results from Ovid.

Want to learn how to use Ovid? Stop by the library and we’ll be happy to guide you through the Ovid Web Gateway search interface. Quick reference cards in pdf format (Basic, Advanced, Books) and an Ovid Tutorial are also available to help you navigate the new interface.

Access to Ovid is available to you 24/7 from your office, the library, or your home – anywhere you have access to the Affinity Library Services Intranet page or via Affinity Remote Access.
