We've Got What You Need ...

It's (not exactly) New at Affinity Libraries, but you might not be aware our basic services.

You need – Articles
You want a copy of an article you saw mentioned in the newspaper (or Medscape, or a professional newsletter, or another journal article).

Affinity Librarians will – locate and get the article for you as soon as we can.

You need – Research
You want to find out what has been published on a certain topic (related to patient care or any other work-related tasks).

Affinity Librarians will – search our available resources to find articles or other information from sources you can trust in order to support your work.

You need – Current Health Information that you can trust for a patient, friend, family member, or for yourself.

Affinity Librarians will – search our quality print and online resources for materials a layperson can use and understand.

You need -- Training
You are curious about the variety of electronic databases and other resources we offer and would like to learn how to use them.

Affinity Librarians will – teach you how to use our resources so that, if you wish to search on your own, you’ll be able to build the skills to do so. (However, please remember that your librarians are always happy to do these searches for you.)

October is National Medical Librarians Month. To find out how we can help you, please contact the libraries at Mercy Medical Center (mmclibrary@affinityhealth.org ; 920-223-0342) or St. Elizabeth Hospital (sehlibrary@affinityhealth.org ; 920-738-2324). We look forward to working with you.
